Homestead drilling early next year

Drilling is slated for early 1988 on Homestead Resources’ newly acquired Legacy gold prospect in the Rice Lake belt of Manitoba. Geological mapping, line cutting and geophysical work is being carried out to identify drill targets. The 1,765-acre claim group adjoins the San Antonio mine property.

In the same area, Homestead has a joint venture with Highmark Resources on the 3,100-acre Gunnar claim group, which includes the former producing Gunnar gold mine. Line cutting and geophysical surveys are in progress to define drill targets.
