Toronto-based Home Lake Resources (COATS) has staked 100 claims in the Eastmain River region of northern Quebec. The claims lie six kilometres southwest of the main zone of mineralization discovered by Windy Mountain Explorations (COATS) on the MacLeod Lake property. Home Lake says the geological formations on the Home Lake claims are similar to those on the MacLeod Lake property. Last April, Windy Mountain announced a mineral inventory of more than 30 million tons grading 0.48% copper on MacLeod Lake. The mineralized zone strikes southwest.
Windy Mountain and Home Lake are both managed by President Stanley Mourin.
