Hixon intersects minor copper-zinc values

A minor copper-zinc target has been identified by Hixon Gold Resources (VSE) on one of two properties in Louvicourt and Isle Dieu twps., Que. Hixon and its joint venture partners, Globex Mining Enterprises (ME) and Murgor Resources (VSE), have drilled five holes totalling 2,779 ft. on the copper prospect. The holes intersected limited copper-zinc mineralization, while a down-hole survey identified a significant off-hole geophysical anomaly.

A geophysical anomaly over a graphitic shear was the target of one hole, but a down-hole pulse EM survey failed to detect any off- hole conductors. The company has abandoned the drilling program for the time being, but anticipates further exploration on the property this summer.
