High grades expand El Manto

Vancouver – Drilling continues to extend the El Manto zone in three directions on Oremex’s (ORM-V) Tejamen silver project in the state of Durango, Mexico. Deeper drilling has also intersected a mineralized zone at depth. The company’s drill program is targeting three zones, the Cerro Prieto, El Manto and the newly discovered El Manto East zone on the property.

Assays from eleven recently drilled holes southeast and south of El Manto show some very high grade silver intervals. What’s more, several holes testing for a historical mineralized structure at depth intersected it in holes 142 and 149.

Hole 141, drilled on section 250 north, gave results of 1114 grams silver over 28 metres from 80 metres down the hole. The company says this would be the equivalent of 1.3 oz. gold per tonne over 39 feet at today’s gold and silver prices.

Oremex notes that in hole 142 on the same section, some 30 metres to the east, the same high grade zone was intersected and assayed 341 grams silver per tonne over 12 metres from a depth of 154 metres down the hole.

Assays for the other holes drilled in the program were less spectacular but still significant.

So far the company has drilled 23,800 metres in 141 holes on the Cerro Prieto and the El Manto zone.

Tejamen is one of six silver properties held by Oremex in the state of Durango.
