In the southern section of the property near the Uno mine, the zone exceeds 1,300 ft along strike and is 40 ft-70 ft wide. Backhoe trenching in thi s area expo sed a 52-ft wide zone with assays ranging from 0.002 to 0.44 oz gold per ton. Th e footwall averaged 0.17 oz gold across 24 ft.
A further 900 ft north of the Uno mine workings, trenching found the zone to be 70 ft wide. Within this section, a 40-ft section yielded anomalous g old values.
This part of the zone is associated with fracturing and clay alteration in an alluvium covered area. A strong magnetic low is also found proximal to the zone.
To the north, the shear zone is up to 1,500 ft long and up to 50 ft in width. The zone hosts narrow quartz veins which have yielded assays from 0.09 oz to 0.1 2 oz gold per ton.
