Hemlo options play in northern Quebec

Toronto-listed Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE) can earn a half interest in the 77-claim Ligneris gold property, near Amos, Que., from joint owners Placer Dome (TSE) and La Societe d’exploration miniere Vior (ME).

It can do so by spending $2 million on exploration over the next five years. Hemlo will be the project operator.
