Heathgate co-operates with Australian inquiry

The operator of the Beverley uranium mine in South Australia has agreed to surrender an environmental impact report to a Senate inquiry investigating a mine spill that occurred in January 2002.

Adelaide-based Heathgate Resources had refused to give a copy of the report to the inquiry, but the inquiry’s chair, Sen. Lyn Allison, told the company its refusal was hindering the investigation.
