Toronto-based consulting firm Hatch has donated $1 million to the University of Toronto to create management programs for the communications and technology industries.
The Hatch Chair in Technology and Management will work with the university’s Rotman School of Management in developing courses that teach students how to manage companies which offer technological products or services.
The donation, which was matched by the university for a total of $2 million, will also be used for research.
