Hall of Fame nominates 16

The annual fund-raising dinner of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame is scheduled for Jan. 9, 1995, at Toronto’s Royal York Hotel.

Sixteen individuals have been nominated for election to the Hall of Fame. An announcement on the new inductees is expected to be made during the latter half of November.

The Hall of Fame, which accepted its first inductees in 1989, is sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the Mining Association of Canada and The Northern Miner.
