Boulder, Colo.-based consulting firm Gustavson Associates has been hired to prepare a prefeasibilty study for International Enexco’s (IEC-V, IEXCF-O) Contact copper project in Nevada.
The study, slated to be completed by the first quarter of 2009, will focus on copper oxide mineralization at the project.
The company is looking at building an open-pit heap-leach operation with solvent extraction-electrowinning to produce cathode copper on-site.
