Greystar sinks more holes

Junior Greystar Resources (GSL-T) continues to intersect gold and silver mineralization at its Angostura project in northeastern Colombia.

The latest results are from three holes collared in the La Alta area: two at its northern limit and one at its southern edge. All were drilled as part of a 20,000-metre campaign designed to follow up previous drilling and test new showings.

Drilled parallel to each other but spaced 130 metres apart, holes 10 and 11 each cut several intercepts. Values ranged from 0.97 to 4.95 grams gold per tonne and from 2.7 to 13.9 grams silver. The mineralized intervals varied considerably in core length, from 1 to 45 metres.

Hole 1, collared 600 metres southwest of hole 10, on the southwestern edge of La Alta, cut 11 intercepts generally averaging more than 1 gram gold and more than 1 gram silver. Mineralized widths varied from 1 to 18 metres, with the best being 15 metres (from 194 to 209 metres) of 5.19 grams gold and 13.8 grams silver.

At last report, Angostura hosted a geological resource of 90.79 million tonnes averaging 1.52 grams gold and 5.63 grams silver. The resource, calculated by Nevada-based Mine Development Associates, is based on a cutoff grade of 0.7 gram gold.
