Earlier this month, the chief gold commissioner of British Columbia settled a dispute involving the claims giving clear title to Greenstone and Dragoon.
A preliminary exploration program on the property is expected to reach completion by the end of the month. The program includes sampling of rock outcrops and gossan zones in the vicinity of geophysical targets as well as rock and soil geochemistry surveys.
The companies are exploring for precious metal mineralization similar to that found at the Stikine/ Calpine deposit, five miles to the north. Airborne and ground electromagnetic surveys on the joint venture’s claims have identified conductors in the Mt. Dilworth formation which hosts the Stikine/ Calpine mineralization to the north.
