Granges drilling on Giant Gripp

Drilling by Granges Exploration (TSE) on the Giant Gripp base metals deposit in Ontario has yielded one of the best intersections yet from that deposit. A Granges spokesman confirmed that the company drilled a 44-ft section grading 8.9% zinc, 1.44% copper, 3.36 oz silver and 0.083 oz gold per ton.

Located north of Nakina in the Marshall Lake area, the Giant Gripp deposit has been known for several years. Before Granges optioned the property, reserves were estimated at 2.2 million tons grading 4.2% zinc, 1.22% copper, 2.45 oz silver and 0.012 oz gold per ton. The claims are owned by N.W.T. Copper Mines (COATS).

Granges has the right to earn a 66.6% interest in the property by completing 100,000 ft of drilling within a five-year period.
