Unconfirmed street talk is that the claims protecting Hemlo Gold’s Golden Giant mine at Hemlo, Ont., are being restaked by a junior mining company. At presstime, the Thunder Bay, Ont., mining recorders office said that no claims had been filed. But sources tell The Northern Miner that the actual filing of the restaked claims is expected within a few days.
