A tantalite-lithium-tin prospect held by Gossan Resources (GSS-V) near Kenora, Ont., has attracted the attention of Tantalum, a unit of Cabot, an American-based chemical company.
Selected grab samples assayed up to 1.14% Ta205, which is significantly higher than the average grade from Tantalum’s North American operations.
To earn a 50.1% interest in the prospect, Tantalum will pay $20,000 up front and spend $250,000 on exploration over three years.
