Goodman boosts Prime ownership

Toronto-based Ned Goodman reported boosting his ownership by 2.3% in Prime Resources Group (VSE), the operator of the Eskay Creek gold exploration project in northwestern British Columbia.

Goodman said he now owns or controls about 3.5 million B common shares, or about 43.6%, of Prime. The winding up of a wholly owned subsidiary of Prime resulted in Goodman acquiring the extra shares.

Through Goodman, gold producer Corona (TSE) is the major corporate influence in Prime. Goodman has a major stake in Corona through his membership in a 5-person management group which currently controls 84.3% of the outstanding common shares and 70.5% of the votes attached to the outstanding voting securities of Corona.
