Goldteck drills high grade

Several encouraging assays have been received by Goldteck Mines from the company’s Stairs property, west of Matachewan, Ont. In the G-9 zone, located 2,000 ft east of the shaft, drilling intersected a high grade vein assaying 2.45 oz gold per ton across 2.6 ft.

At the Slipper Lake zone, hole 42 intersected 3.6 ft grading 0.189 oz gold per ton and 5.2 ft assaying 0.059 oz. A hole in the B zone cut 2.3 ft grading 0.083 oz. Another 5-ft section from the C zone assayed 0.178 oz.

Goldteck is also dewatering the shaft and underground workings in preparation for an underground exploration and sampling program.
