At its recent annual meeting in Toronto, Goldteck announced that it has received an Ontario Mineral Exploration Program (OMEP) grant of $46 1,779 and now has a cash position of $1.9 million. This compares with $1.4 million on March 31 of last year.
Goldteck is also bulk sampling its tailings project at Matachewan, Ont., and the results are expected in August. Again, this will be followed by a feasibility study if results warrant.
The company has made several applications for a number of placer deposits in Chile and has received approval for four of them. A local company has made a joint venture offer.
