Goldpost to mine high grade ore

President Patrick Heenan says the grade of the material is 0.81 oz gold per ton after allowing 20% for dilution. The area below the 250-ft level is partially drilled.

On the company’s Hislop East property, recent drilling has confirmed the 89 zone, 300 ft west of the shaft, the company reports.

Also, several holes have been drilled in the shaft area below the 450-ft level, confirming the structure at depth and indicating a possible plunge to the west. The best intersection was 2.5 oz across a 6-ft true width.

Drilling on the west zone returned some impressive results, including 0.53 oz across 12 ft at a depth of 600 ft and 0.43 oz across 18 ft at 650 ft.

Drill-indicated reserves on the Hislop East property are reported to be 443,000 tons averaging 0.22 oz, or 835,544 tons grading 0.17 oz based on a cutoff grade of 0.1 oz.
