Goldhunter plans to acquire private firm

A takeover bid has been made by Goldhunter Explorations to acquire 90% of a private company. The main asset of the private company is a 40-claim property near Beardmore, Ont., which adjoins claims held by Metalore Resources to the west. Metalore announced a gold discovery on its property in March.

The private company also has $90,000 in cash and three other mineral prospects in Ontario. On completion of the deal, Goldhunter has agreed to grant another private company, this one in Alberta, the right to earn a 50% interest in the 40 Beardmore claims. The same company will also be granted an option to earn 50% of Goldhunter’s Federal Kirkland property near Kirkland Lake, Ont.

Goldhunter will be the project manager on both properties, the company says.
