Golden Zone

About 6,400 ft of drilling has been completed on a 54-claim property held by Golden Zone Developments in Alaska. Of the 18 holes drilled, 13 were in the Golden breccia pipe and five holes tested veins or shear targets. Assay results are pending, says the company.

In the meantime, trenching is continuing but all field work will terminate this month. Data will then be assembled for an internal feasibility study, says Golden Zone.

Previous exploration work on the project’s breccia pipe indicated 535,000 tons of gold-bearing mineralization grading 0.24 oz gold per ton and 0.77 oz silver at a 0.12 oz cutoff. No drilling has been completed on the hangingwall or down plunge portions of the breccia pipe.
