Golden Tanager completes Pickle Lake area work

Surface exploration has been completed by Golden Tanager Resources (COATS) on its two Pickle Lake area gold properties.

On the company’s 84-claim North Caribou property, located 166 km north of Pickle Lake, geological and geochemical surveys have outlined numerous zones of shearing and sulphide mineralization with values up to 1,047 ppb gold reported.

Geochemically anomalous gold values were also found on the company’s Magpy property located west of Pickle Lake. This 22-claim property is situated about 18 km from the Golden Patricia mine owned by Bond Gold Canada.

Joint ventures are now being negotiated to provide funding for more extensive exploration on the properties, including diamond drilling, the company says. Comprehensive surface exploration is also planned for Tanager’s recently acquired Windigo Lake property.
