More drill intersections have been released by partners Manson Creek Resources and Golden Rule Resources from their Toodoggone area gold project in northern B.C.
Hole M-9 drilled on the Mets claims, cut 22.5 ft grading 0.41 oz gold per ton, including a 15-ft section which assayed 0.5 oz gold. Other good holes include M-12, which pulled 20 ft grading 0.21 oz gold and hole M-13, which intersected 35 ft assaying 0.18 oz. Holes 10 and 11 failed to intersect economic mineralization, the partners report. Hole 15 intersected 22.5 ft assaying 0.233 oz.
These results appear to confirm the initial drill results, which suggest an important gold discovery has been made by the companies. The Mets zone, which hosts the gold mineralization, has been tested over a strike length of 495 ft and to a depth of 295 ft. True widths range from 16 ft to 30 ft. Trenching suggests the zone has a strike component of more than 7,900 ft.
Gold is associated with a brecciated quartz-barite vein; part of an epithermal vein system, the companies report.
