Drilling will resume this month on the polymetallic Big Island Lake project near Flin Flon, Man., Goldbrae Developments (VSE) reports. The company says 19,000 ft of drilling has been completed to date on the property in which Westfield Minerals (TSE) is earning a 70% interest.
Hole 41 intersected some of the best mineralization so far, the company says; the hole represents a true width of 25-to-35 ft which suggests mineralization may thicken with depth. Among the better results: Hole

Exploration work will include prospecting and trenching along the length of the major north-south geophysical conductor located on the western side of the 10,000-acre property, the company says. Several gold and base metal soil anomalies are associated with this conductor which extends for three miles.
