A junior mining firm incorporated in 1985, Exploration Vent d’Or (Gold Wind Exploration) of Val d’Or, Que., was recently listed for trading on the Montreal Exchange (symbol von).
The company was originally called Aurock Exploration before the name was changed in July, 1987, to Gold Wind. It has interests in a number of properties in northwestern Quebec, in the townships of Joutel-Poirier, Puiseaux-Raymond, Currie, Tiblemont, Louvicourt- Bourlamaque and Noyon.
