Exploration so far has encompassed only 20% of the property. But according to HSK, 40 of those veins have returned anomalous values in excess of 0.015 oz gold per ton within an area measuring about one mile by 0.25 mile.
Grab sample material assayed as high as 0.78 oz with soil sample survey’s ranging up to 0.2 oz.
Based on results obtained so far, the joint venture is expected to carry out additional exploration over the rest of the property. “As part of this program, detailed stripping, trenching and sampling will evaluate the known gold-bearing veins in preparation for diamond drilling,” said HSK President Hugh Harbinson.
Exploration is also expected to focus on a 12.5 ft wide quartz vein which recorded gold values of up to 0.78 oz. HSK is a member of the Queenston Gold Mines (TSE) group of companies.
