A privately owned Mexican company, Recursos Cruz del Sur, has confirmed that gold values exist on its Esperanza property near Mexico City.
Selected rock chip samples have returned up to 12.1 grams per tonne, while 19% of the samples returned values greater than 1 gram.
The property is underlain by a skarn system 1.4 km long and 200 metres wide. The system is open and unprospected to the south and may continue to the north under younger volcanics.
A follow-up program of rock and soil geochemistry, geophysics and drilling is contemplated.
