Gold forum to highlight recovery methods

The Randol Gold Forum, an international conference and exhibition on gold extraction and recovery, will be held April 22-24 at Squaw Creek, Calif.

The conference will focus on improved gold and silver recovery, and the need to reduce capital and operating costs, as well as environmental risks.

Attendees will learn about new methods for treating refractory gold ores, including bio-oxidization in heaps, autoclave oxidation and whole ore roasting.

Other topics for discussion include gravity gold recovery in milling circuits, heap leaching in unusual climates, and management of the environment.
