Gold Bar exploring Ontario properties

The property is located in Groves Twp., in the Porcupine mining division of northern Ontario.

The exploration work will be conducted by Timmins Nickel in a 60/40 joint venture. According to Gold Bar, the property hosts a known reserve of 500,000 tons grading 2% nickel and 1% copper.

On Gold Bar’s Chester Twp., gold property in northern Ontario, the company reports assays have been received from five of six recently drilled holes. The best intersection was 21 ft grading 0.25 oz gold per ton. Another hole cut 7 ft grading 0.13 oz gold.

The company is currently negotiating for additional capital to continue diamond drilling on the Chester No 1 zone and other satellite sulphide zones indicated by geophysics.
