GOLD AND PRECIOUS METALS — Murgor hits gold at Windfall project

Five of six holes sunk by Murgor Resources (MUG-M) at its Windfall property in northwestern Quebec have returned gold mineralization.

Drilling on the 5,228-ha property, a joint venture with Freewest Resources Canada (FWR-T), totalled 1,130 metres. The best intercepts included 3.47 grams gold per tonne over 1.9 metres and 15.1 grams over 1.2 metres. Gold at Windfall is found in sheared ultramafic volcanics and quartz porphyries.

The recent drilling was part of a follow-up program designed to further evaluate three zones from which 1-metre channel samples returned values as high as 71, 104 and 2.5 grams gold.

Work on the project this summer will include trenching and stripping, as well as geophysical testing to identify further drill targets.
