Global diamond conference set for March in Australia

Plans are in the works for World Diamond Conference 1995, to take place March 17-18 in Perth, Australia.

The conference will be linked with Western Australia’s Mining Week that month, and will commence a day after the conclusion of the Australian Gold Conference in Kalgoorlie.

Representatives from Canada, Africa and Russia, and from the European diamond trading market, are expected to attend. One confirmed speaker is Christopher Jennings, president of SouthernEra Resources and chairman of Australian junior Kimberley Diamond Co.
