An exploration program of surface stripping and sampling is being performed by Glimmer Resources on the company’s 108-claim property in Barnet Twp., Ont. The claims are located in the Harker- Holloway area which has experienced a resurgence in exploration over that past four years.
Preliminary work completed by the company has yielded encouraging results. A grab sample from a narrow quartz vein assayed 0.145 oz gold per ton. This season’s work will also focus on examining an alteration zone which strikes for 300 m and is up to 2 m wide. Grab samples from the zone returned low values of 0.02 oz gold per ton.
Glimmer recently raised $160,000 via a public offering on the Vancouver Stock Exchange.
