Glencairn signs Goodfish agreement

An agreement has been reached between Glencairn Explorations (ASE) and International Platinum (TSE) to explore the 25-claim Goodfish gold property near Kirkland Lake, Ont. Under the agreement, International Platinum will earn a 51% interest by drilling a minimum of 10,000 ft. over an 18-month period and paying Glencairn $50,000 over six months. A minimum of 3,000 ft. of drilling must be completed by May 15. A 1988 drill intersection returned 0.48 oz. gold per ton over 10.5 ft.

In addition, Glencairn’s Raw Bean diamond project in Brazil is on schedule and on budget, said Vice-President Ian McDonald. Initial production of 1,000 cubic metres per month is expected in April, while full production of 6,000 cubic metres per month should follow in September.
