Glen Auden Resources (TSE) and Golden Dragon Resources (VSE) have staked 415 claims in Eva and Kitto twps, near Beardmore, Ont. The claims, which are adjacent to the former producing Leitch gold mine, are believed to cover the unexplored extension of the favorable structures which are closely associated with several gold mines in the Beardmore camp. A program of geophysical surveys and prospecting is planned to begin before the end of August.
Glen Auden has also entered into a joint venture with Shango Resources (VSE) giving Auden the right to earn a 50% interest in Shango’s 54-claim property in Dorthea Twp., also near Beardmore. The interest can be earned by spending $1.5 million over a 4-year period. The property protects several gold showings associated with shears and veins. Results from surface trenching include 0.18 oz gold per ton across 12 ft and high grade assays in the multi-oz range over very narrow sections of less than a foot.
