Glamis profitable in 2004

Year-end results from Glamis Gold (GLG-T) show the gold miner posted earnings of US$20.9 million (US16 per share) on revenues of US94.7 million in 2004.

Glamis earned US$18.2 million (US14 per share) on revenues of US$84 million in 2003.

The company produced 234,433 oz. gold during the year, at an average US$192 per oz. Production was up from 230,934 oz. in 2003, when cash costs were US$184 per oz.

Glamis, a non-hedger, realized an average US$416 per oz. for its gold in 2004, up from US$368 the year before.
