Getty Resources has filed in all provinces except Quebec, and has obtained receipts for a final prospectus for the offering of four million units, each consistng of one common share and two common share purchase warrants.
The units are being offered at a price of $5.50 per unit. Two warrants will entitle the holder to subscribe for one common share for $6 before Oct 23, 1989.
A Canadian underwriting group led by Wood Gundy and First Marathon Securities is offering two million units in Canada. Two million units are being offered internationally by a syndicate managed by S. G. Warburg Securities.
The company expects the closing of the new issue will be on or about Oct 23. The TSE has conditionally approved the listing of the units, the common shares and the warrants.
