Acta Geologica Sinica is a new journal devoted to publishing information about achievements in theoretical research and basic aspects of geoscience obtained by Chinese geological circles for the purpose of academic exchange in China and with the rest of the world, and to promote the development of, and raise the level of geological sciences and technology.
The journal encompasses a variety of topics including stratigraphy, paleontology, tectonics and structural geology, mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, physics, mineral deposits, dynamic geology, regional geology, geological prospecting techniques and their relevant and borderline disciplines.
