The 1996 summer exploration season is in full gear, reports Geonova Explorations (GNE-M).
The junior will carry out stripping and sampling work on properties in Quebec. These include the Desjardins, Riviere Baptiste and Diomines Extension properties in the Lebel-sur-Quevillion area and the Chevrier property near Chibougamau.
The Chevrier project contains more than 1.1 million tonnes grading 6.36 grams gold per tonne. This year’s drilling is aimed at defining the extensions of the Chevrier zone.
The Discovery deposit at Desjardins (51% owned) is aimed at delineating and expanding the current resource of 1.4 million tons grading 4.75 grams gold.
