Gengold director to discuss mining in Africa at luncheon held by CIM

The state of Africa’s mining industry will be addressed at the next luncheon meeting of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy & Petroleum, to be held at 12 noon on March 12 at Constitution Hall in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Thomas Dale, managing director of South African-based Gengold, will deliver a talk entitled “Strategic Resources Applied to Transformation of the South African Gold Mining Industry.”

The luncheon is being held in conjunction with the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada as part of that organization’s 1997 convention and trade show.
