Galveston drilling

Drilling has commenced at Galveston Resources’ Murphy Lake mine in the Wawa area of Ontario. A minimum 20,000 ft of drilling is planned to block out reserves on the east and west zones. The first drill rig is testing the Murphy Lake mine gold zones below the 500-ft level. A second rig will be mobilized shortly to prove up reserves near surface.

A third drill will be brought in to evaluate other gold occurrences and 20,000 ft of drilling is budgeted for this program. Operation Wawa is a joint venture with Galveston, Eagle Pass Resources and Tri Basin Resources. Galveston is managing the project.
