Galactic reviewing DCC merger

With one merger already on its plate, Galactic Resources (TSE) is reviewing the possibility of a second merger.

The company has been in the process of merging with Cornucopia Resources (TSE) for some time now and recently announced it is reviewing a possible business combination with DCC Equities as well.

Galactic described DCC Equities as a private merchant bank with substantial investments in the resource sector. DCC is 51.6% owned by Dundee Capital.

Both companies have initiated due diligence reviews.

Galactic is in the process of merging with Cornucopia on the basis of one Galactic share for each 0.7 shares of Cornucopia subject to Galactic completing a financing to raise a total of US$9.1 million.
