The joint meeting of the Geological Association of Canada and the Mining Association of Canada will be held May 26-28 at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ont.
The meeting will feature five symposia ranging from Precambrian terrane boundaries to impact events. Special sessions include discussions on geophysical signatures of ore deposits, alteration facies of volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits, genesis of gem deposits, reclamation, and earth sciences in the classroom. Also scheduled are workshops, short courses and field trips.
