Freewest to go deeper at Clarence Stream

Freewest Resources (FWR-V, FWERF-O) intersected visible gold in all recent drill holes at its Clarence Stream property 70 km southwest of Fredericton, N.B.

The company is testing a 1,000-metre-long portion within the deeper levels of the Central zone, between 200 and 300 metres depth. Freewest also tested deposits surrounding the zone at the same depth.

Highlights include a 7-metre intersection grading 6.59 grams gold per tonne and 7 metres grading 3.59 grams gold; both intervals are among the deepest to date.

The Central zone has the largest resource on the Clarence Stream property with 347,904 tonnes grading 7.42 grams gold per tonne, or about 83,000 oz. gold in the indicated category.

Metallurgical testing that involved a cyanidation study on a 120-kg sample, showed the head grade of the Central zone averaged 8 grams gold per tonne with a 90.4% recovery rate.
