Freewest inks deal with Fancamp Exploration

Montreal-based junior Freewest Resources Canada (FWR-M) is expanding its area of interest around the Clarence Stream high-grade gold discovery in southwestern New Brunswick.

The company has entered into an option agreement on the 46-claim Oromocto South property, held by Fancamp Exploration (FNC-V) and situated 17 km east of Clarence Stream. Freewest can earn a half-interest in the project by spending $200,000 over two years.

Recent prospecting by Fancamp uncovered grab samples that returned up to 2.6 grams gold per tonne.

A government till sampling report describes an angular float sample on Fancamp Exploration’s Oromocto South property exhibiting anomalous gold, arsenic and antimony values.
