FreeGold reports Golden Summit holes

VSE-listed International FreeGold Mineral Development has completed a second round of drilling on the Dolphin zone at its 26,000-acre Golden Summit project, 20 miles northeast of Fairbanks, Alaska.

FreeGold tested the intrusive body with an additional 14

reverse-circulation holes totalling 5,294 ft. The low-grade, bulk-tonnage target extends over a strike length of 1,600 ft., with an average width of 1,200 ft. Mineralization remains open to the east and west, as well as at depth.

Drilling is planned for the western extension of the Dolphin zone, where soil auger sampling returned the largest and highest-grade anomalies.

Recent drill results include: 600 ft. of 0.02 oz. gold per ton (including an interval grading 0.025 oz. over 250 ft.) for hole 96-9; 479 ft. of 0.024 oz. (including 40 ft. grading 0.041 oz.) for hole 96-10; 433 ft. of 0.011 oz. for hole 96-6; 410 ft. of 0.011 oz. for hole 96-7; and 65 ft. of 0.024 oz. (including 25 ft. grading 0.041 oz.) for hole 96-1.
