Fraser Institute had it right

An ad which appeared in the Jan. 18-24 edition of The Northern Miner concerned misconceptions about Yukon mining.

While the ad was placed in good faith by the Yukon government, it was not approved by the board of directors of the Yukon Chamber of Mines and does not reflect the views of many of our members

The Fraser Institute study is a valid reflection of mining conditions in the Yukon.

The Yukon Chamber of Mines will continue to work with the government to improve our investment climate.
