Fortune drills Nico

Once results from a 25-hole drill program are in hand, Fortune Minerals (FT-T) expects to release an updated resource estimate for the Nico cobalt-gold-bismuth deposit 160 km northwest of Yellowknife, N.W.T.

The estimate will be made by Strathcona Mineral Services. One of the better holes hit three mineralized lenses, with the lower lens returning an average grade of 0.17% cobalt, 1 gram gold and 0.1% bismuth over a 47.4-metre length. Included in this interval was a 17.3-metre section averaging 0.3% cobalt, 1.1 grams gold and 0.27% bismuth.
