Fleck commences Ireland venture

Vancouver-based Fleck Resources says it has started a joint venture exploration program with Westland Exploration in Ireland’s Carlingford region.

According to Fleck director John McGoran, an exploration crew consisting of two geologists from Fleck and two from Westland, located sulphide mineralization associated with pegmatoid, within the Carlingford Layered Complex.

Pegmatoid is associated with platinum metals values at Bushveld in South Africa, at Stillwater in Montana and at Fleck’s Marathon deposit in northern Ontario.

Analytical results are expected soon.

In other news, Richard Pyke has been appointed President of Fleck while McGoran becomes Chairman of the Board. The company says this move strengthens and broadens the management capabilities of the company.
