A drilling program on a gold property in Honduras owned by Minerales de Copan S.A. de C.V. has been discontinued by Fischer-Watt Gold (NASDAQ).
Madeleine Mines (TSE) and Milner Consolidated Silver Mines (ASE), each with a 25.5% interest in Minerales de Copan, said the program was terminated because of poor initial results.
Madeleine said Fischer-Watt did confirm significant gold mineralization on portions of the property.
