The first bulk sample is being taken at Geddes Resources’ (TSE) Windy Craggy deposit located in northwestern British Columbia.
A cross-cut has entered the massive sulphide deposit for the first time, and has been advanced 250 ft into the chalcopyrite, pyrite, and pyrrhotite-rich south copper zone at a point where it is estimated to be 400 ft wide. This will enable bulk samples to be taken for initial metallurgical test work. Channel sampling of the cross-cut has started and results will be released when available.
With more than half of its current 70,000-ft underground drilling program complete, the company says the shape of the Windy Craggy deposit is becoming more clearly defined.
